Eventually...but when? who knows. I don't even think CCP knows this. |

Wouldn't that depend on the strain the client puts on the PS3 system and/or CCP servers, and whether the PS3 and/or servers could handle the extra work?
I remember Resistance 2 had 64 (?) player multiplayer and that game ran fairly well, considering it was Resistance. BF3 can apparently only support 24 (?) on the PS3 and even then, that game runs like a pile of crap.
It's probably not the only factor but I imagine this would be more likely to be implemented when PS3 support is discontinued. |

They said in a interview they considered 24vs24 the minimum. Would be nice to have at least the minimum soon, next update I think it is coming.
We used to have 12vs12, so it is growing. They are rumored to have tested 64vs64, i would love that but won't hold my breath for a while.
Years from now we may have battles in the hundreds. I believe they are adding to cap slowly, testing as they go. So, they don't raise cap and crash something making it unplayable. |

Ambush already supports 32v32 (?) Not sure as I just glimpse through anything Ambush related. BF3 runs at 30 FPS, which compared to DUST seems buttery smooth. It only has 12v12 cuz it's all the current gen consoles can handle running on that engine. If they cut back on the destruction, sound, graphics, animation, then they might have more resources available to raise the player count.
For a game with nothing much in the graphics department, DUST sure has allot of frame rate issues. |

I would say bigger teams would be no problem. MAG had 256 player matches and it ran fairly well, although the 256 player mode usually had the most lag if there was any at all. |

Welcome to beta, where engines are not optimized, and graphical overhauls are common. |

You must think I don't know what a beta is. This beta has been going far too long to have frame rate issues. You can be a CCP fanboy if you want, but honestly speaking, they're more concerned about releasing more AUR stuff than actually updating the beta.
Oh when's the new update? SOON! Trolololol
When are we getting more AUR stuff? Tomorrow!!!!
Let's not focus on making the actual gameplay better before going open beta, cuz people are so not going to judge it right? Every article about DUST people bash it, and I used to defend it everytime, but I'm finding it harder to do since simple gameplay mechanics are still broken.
So yeah, updates are whenever they reach, they reach, but in the mean time, give us your money
