So they're basically a quick kill move? are they silent(not show up on radar) when you kill someone?
and why are there two on screen? that just seems stupid for a professional soldier to not keep a hand free when knife fighting. |

they are sortof fast but u need to spend sp if u really plan on using them. most are scout so they would normally show up less on the radar. |

I believe they don't make you pop up on radar per say but can't confirm this what i do know is the sound it makes while charging so if a enemy is paying attention to sound this will be their cue that someone is gonna knife them most of the time a little too late. |

Not entirely silent. When holding a charge they emit a sound that is subtle and steady and for some reason can be compared to holding two overcharged phallic toys.
Yes, they are mostly one hit kill as long as you pick your targets carefully. But if your try it on a heavy, you are tempting fate.
There are two because it looks awesome that way. |

oh, so they aren't plasma blades, they're vibroknives?
and got it, stick to the small fry, and save a submachine gun or something bigger for heavies. |

No I think they're plasma blades, it's just that you wouldn't want to trip and fall on a plasma rimmed knife or something so it has a charge feature. Or something stupid like that. |

could be that the blades have weak internal batteries(since the guns seem to fire plasma bursts, which are not necessarily actual bullets per say, but could just be highly energized air particles) and can only use their maximum output for short bursts, like a camera's flash and the fact that those need a moment to charge.
So the charging mechanic could just be it building up a charge from the battery to the blade of the knife in order to convert the matter around it to plasma. |
