I only ask because I never heard any discussion about the drones shown on the clip, I believe they appear at about 00:35. If CCP made up a model for those PVE drones, how far is real implementation?
Apologies if this was discussed and I just missed it. |

As far as I recall, the drones we've seen are just something they put together as a "concept" video and nothing actually exists as far as a game mode. |

CCP already confirmed they are bringing in drones to Dust. However, when asked when that will be, we only got the usual SOON(TM) reply. |

There better be neutral drones in PvP, where you can hack their control center or something to sick them on your enemies  |

In a Cast 514 interview, they said they have the Infestation PVE drone mode working internally, but they're not ready to deploy it yet. |

The drones you see in the Gathering Forces trailer are "Rogue Drones":

Although originally created by humans, they are essentially a hostile alien life form.
What you saw in the video is one of the intended (probably the main) PVE play type.
The Gathering Forces trailer is showing a new player learning the ropes in PVE, finding some friends, building on that in PVP, and eventually massing a large corporation that can take territory on its own. In other words, it is supposed to showcase the ideal progression of a player from "newberry" to "endgame". |
