I'm just a little curious as to who else is going to ride this game until the wheels fall off. I never really took count of how many people I could expect to see sticking with it through rain and shine and enjoying the perks of persistence. I want to know how many people will actually be able to say:
"I was in the (Open) Beta from start to finish!"
Despite the problems. I'm sure it'll be mostly EVE players that are sticking with it, but as a non-EVE player I can say i won't lose hope. Not to say they shouldn't hurry up...But I'm going to be loyal to CCP until then end, and support this game as much as I possibly can. Anyone else? |

I'll be playing it until I find a sci-fi shooter that's better. I'm way more into Sci-Fi than fantasy. The 5 whole seconds I've seen of Destiny looks graphically impressive at least. I have hopes. EvE is a great game (haven't played it in YEARS). My playtime has been cut down from 4-5 hours a night to 1-2 hours every other night, but I still enjoy it. It's just definetely not a "main" game for me, not yet at least. |

This game has CCP's track record of a persistent universe. And passive SP. And it's free. So even if I take a break, as I surely will, I will come back and Sontie will be waiting for me.
Isn't it beautiful?
And in 10 years? Can't even imagine it. A new game that seamlessly integrates Eve and Dust into a VR universe? Could happen. |

meh... i don't think this game is ever really gonna get to be what it's supposed to be.
it'll be 2 steps forward, 4 back plus several nerfs every step of the way.
for every good change they make there will probably be 33% of the community that is screwed outta the game by it.
it could be cool though if they would just unleash the clans and let em run as 16 man teams. then you'd see some fun stuff happen.
or DayZ will come out and that'll be that.

I agree with you Sontie. I'm hoping they deliver...Slightly more quicker than they have been. As cool as the promises are, it's be cooler if they moved a little faster. |

Time will tell, but I tend to think I'll be here for a while. I like what I've seen so far and I like the idea of maxing out various skill trees and roles to more effectively integrate into various teams and for (future) corporate objectives.
I may even have to give Eve a shot.... ;) |

As long as the game keeps moving forward then I'm here for the long haul. After five years in EVE I still log in and mess around but DUST has most of my attention right now. Destiny has some pretty graphics but I'm curious about gameplay. Not much to go on yet. Maybe it'll light a fire under CCP. ;-) |
