I need to know before think about buying any more packs if tanks in there current state are how they plan to stay. Or should i just start saving for a new pc for planetside or new next get console for destiny? Currently when they are correctly fitted are invincible to low grade AV and just recharge damage from level 3 AV weapons. Players are abusing this and raping players with tanks. They are able to hide in red line areas of the map and then return fully charged. I like mix infantry and vehicle combat but do not like it when it is dominated by tanks. Most games balance tanks with tank crews. This requires gunner and driver. Also games balance tanks by making the driver get out to repair the tank or have others repair the tank. Tanks are just god mode and do not make the game fun. Tanks do not even have ammo. Tankers from eve say that ccp games are not fair and often brutal. I have heard that EVE is filled with greifers and don't know whey anyone would want to play it. I cant get any of my friends to play dust for than a few days because they are destroyed by high level players or tanks. So developers is this how you plan to leave tanks in dust? A response would be nice i have purchased several packs for this game and supported it and tried to spread the word. |

your complaining because you can't take proto tanks out with low level AV?? think about that one it's not hard too see where you are going wrong.
you say most games balance tanks by having seperate gunners and drivers maybe you could name them? I can only name games that are 1 man tanks CoD is 1 man BF 1 man PS2 1 man WoT 1 man |

Let me give you an example, because of my militia "throw away" tank's set u I died in one shot because my hardeners weren't on, and that was just to one forge round and one swarm. Even the smallest amount of cooperation can kill a tank.

try and use more the low level AV and you will quickly see that tanks are only a problem for the noobs or when someone calls out 4 of them that is a problem......
I can blow up most tanks with an assault forge gun. also if you in your suit starts to take damage do you duck in cover to stop yourself from dieing? tanks do the same unless they want to get blown up.
squad up with luch or ted they'll tell you how easy it is to take out a tank now. |

have you tried chasing them?
if not then give it a go. if yes then congratulations youve annoyed a HAV driver and stressed them out aswell as preventing them from doing anything constructive |

To be honest dude just play the game. Winers will get trolled. Plus your in sver true blood, and your wining. Last time I check sver true blood has the best tanks in the game. You should feel ashamed crying on the forums. If you can't win get help from your tankers like Zdowgg. If not go play planerside. We seriously could care less that you keep dying from tanks. play the game. I'm not flaming you. But seriously HTFU and get help from your corp mates. |

It would be completely wrong for a solo to take down high end tanks (with a smart driver and doesn't get caught in a bad spot). They should be nothing more than a buzzing fly to them, even if they are in full proto. It should take 3 proto av's to take them down (from alpha then 1-2 more shots).
As the tankers get better and higher sp, I expect them to cause alot of tears on the battlefield. Ppl seem to think that the militia or standard gear should be enough... It's not... Adv seems to work right now, but soon that wont even be enough. However, if it comes to a point that a high sp solo proto av guy can easily kill a high sp proto tank, then the tanks need to be buffed. |

- Electronic warfare of other forms is also missing. A HAV's greatest power, greater than its eHP, is its ability to get out of the way when things start to go bad. Imagine if you had a stasis webifier to reduce its speed by 60%, and it could potentially do the same to you.
- Other forms of eWar include target painters, ECM (breaks target locks), and sensor dampeners (increase lock time? debuff scan resolution? Not sure how they might work).
- There are a plethora of new weapons, vehicles, and dropsuits that have not yet been implemented.
So no, nothing in the game is currently "as intended". |

well tanks will need a BIG buff b4 this is implemented otherwise tanking will b impossible without resorting to rail gun sniping. |

4 tanks can actually be an disadvantage for the team if all the seats are taken, that leaves just 4 soldiers to intercept the enemy AV infantry. I find it harder to go against 1-2 tanks than four. There is much more room on the battlefield when most of the enemy team are located safely in the tanks. |

when 3-5 tanks are on field then enemies usually hav 8+ AV soldiers, that means they can insta kill each tank, 2 tanks on ambush is best or 3 on skirmish |

Tanks just need a better hard counter. Add real Heavy Tanks. They decimate smaller tanks but their size, turn speed, and large gun limits their effectiveness against infantry. Solves the problem for infantry and gives tankers more toys. |
