I've finally used the lav as an attack vehicle and I've gotta say it's fun more then once I had gotten a team mate in my back (notice I say team mate for they were not squad mates but I wouldn't class them as blue dots) with only two players we locked down entire areas with my adv turret making sure the hostiles couldn't get through moving from spot to spot with my squad providing stupid effective cover fire and due to my upgraded lav I didn't even die the whole match due to my ability to tank av and get out should I needed to and recharge my shields before getting back in the fight.
the lavs are seriously underused and I'm glad I decided to spec into one because I've found a new way to cause hell

im waiting for more LAV need nerfing threads.. the one for smash damage was funny but CCP really did nerf them so im sad i get assist +25 and not +50 as much for head on full speed hits. i like my 2kehp LAV, keep heavies pinned to walls and higher places i dare not go for the fear of getting stuck in them makes them much easier for my team to mow them down, more so on ambush matches with mostly level ground supporting my LAV. i hate pack AV doing over 1500 in a single nade on shields, it made me cry when i seen my shield go in a fast pace miss on logi. |

sucks don't it? if you get your health/resistance high enough though you can survive things like that |

heavys tend to thing they can kill my lav for some reason (maybe they think it's militia) and always shoot at me making them prey for my squad or the gunner it's a good feeling/sight |

i know its the best thing ever to see them waste so many rounds and see my team take them down as they run into the open to fire more at me. even when i do drop the free fit( only do this if a tank is dropped from the other side and actually managed to kill my good one) i love wasting their round. just watch out i had 4 heavies with hmg overcome my recharge rate and forced me to put my shield booster on but i think it was over 6 sec of fire from all 4 plus a few AR's. |

Welcome to the Club Sinboto Simmons
I just deployed my Methana and had a hobo on the back. There was a minor hiccup with a Logi packing AV nades but I just avoided him. We came across an enemy CRU and that's when the fun started. There was this wussy scout shooting an SMG at us from way outside optimal range, but my Hobo couldn't hit him so I went behind the CRU (which is cornered off by a wall and building) and then tons of people spawned there and got two or three roadkills and the Hobo was getting the job done as well. We massacred the CRU, moved on, but got caught by an AV nade. I pulled out to a spot occupied by what appeared to be a lonely enemy sniper but a Swarm Launcher carrier was around and took out my Methana before armor could get safe. |
