So, just five minutes ago I had my 16th hard freeze of today and decided to concede defeat. I can no longer play skirmish as over 75% of my skirmish matches hard lock my system and also, weirdly enough disconnect me from my ISP forcing me to reboot my router as well as my ps3... 1 thing though, I enjoy the new spawn system in ambush, with a decent team that pushes as a huge unit it makes for some great pitched battles. And seeing as I can no longer play skirmish I'm glad for that at least. Anyone else notice an increase in Hard Freezes? I used to Just get 1-2 a week, now... |

You might want to have your system checked out.
I haven't had a single freeze today after four hours of gaming. |

My system is 6-7 months old... Just cleaned la month and a half ago at a local computer repair shop along with my pc, I do not freeze on *most* my other games, I think the only other game I froze with any consistency was MAG |

Try doing a system restore to clean out some of that corrupted data. My PS3 has been going strong all day today on Dust without any freezes. |

You might just be a rare case. I have not had a freeze of any kind since December of last year. |

Remove the game files. Restore db (it checks the filesystem and corrects errors). Re-download DUST.
Did this last week -- no problems so far. |

I didn't have any freezes after the latest hotfix but in almost all the battles after it the sound is inconsistent, with the announcer's voice skipping and weapon sounds sometimes disappearing too. |

Ive got one of the first models PS3 (30GB HD) and Dust has never frozen to this date, i do suffer from unplayable framerates if i keep the unit on and have been playing for 12 hours+, then i need to restart it. |

hard freezing as well in ambush. Bought a new ps3 today due to my other being old and crashing. The new one is hard freezing as well. |

I had 8 chat tabs,went down to 4 and it stopped hard freezing,hope that helps! |
