Hi!
As a Player who aims to be a support and weaken opponents rather than getting kills, I would like to see an Assist Score at some point. Something to redeem my sometimes rather "weak" stats. I can score perhaps 15-20 Assists (or even more) during a game, and I am left with a rather weak looking score as I don't always get many kills.
I hope that this is taken into consideration, and it might even make others who gained few kills look better than what they are.
In a Teamfight who got the kill does not matter, but what matters is which team won?

Yeah, the skill assist thing.....
also +1 for this idea.
But we also need to get more WP for Assists, maybe something like in BF 3 Where I got some kind of percentage as points depending on how much I hurt the enemy.
I just don't get it if I'm putting a heavy nearly down, go around a corner and reload and a happy blueberry comes around and gets my 50 WP for all the work I've done. Maybe this whole Kill-thief thing should be a point where CCP should think about, what about the player who did the most dmg to an enemy and is still alive gets the kill, because if I put an enemy's HP down to 1/5 I don't get it why I should get the ASSIST for doing the major work ;)
I'm pretty sure this had be mentioned before, I just wanted to remind about this problem. |

Although I agree with [Your Absolut End] about WP and times when I've pulled down the Hostile health to almost nothing and someone pops in, it doesn't bother me too much. I wouldn't say no to more WP though ;) logic says that I should be getting more WP for it.
I accidentally "steal" kills sometimes as well.
This is a team game though? It's about winning together and getting to the "Victory" screen. What "Assists" do is that it is telling me and everyone else at the score screen "Who helped out?". |
