Make a grid where only one vehicle can be requested at a time in that sector. once the deployment message has been recieved then another request can be sent.
there are 2 reasons for my suggestion:
1) at the very start of a game if i have made the choice to jump from MCC in order to head for an objective in that direction, no matter how fast i get to ground and how quickly i request an RDV to drop in a vehicle i will always have the pleasure of sitting back and watching endless streams of RDV's dropping down to the ground spawn two by two. so maybe after 4-6 LAV have been dropped there i can recieve mine and by that point i should have just hoofed it.
2) free LAV's being dropped on my effing dropship
a simple 'RDV request denied - airspace currently occupied' would do, or something far more informative... i think that with this system in place there would be no need to limit simultaneous RDV drops, i can understand having to wait for a vehicle drop but not because two guys in the distance decided to call in their own vehicles seconds before me. |

I like this idea not only would it eliminate the pointless deaths of many dropships or players it would also eliminate the confusion of who summoned what. |

+1 to topic, its quite frustrating when my dropship explodes in a horrible death after being droped on top of another dropship or lav... |

it really would eliminate waiting for a vehicle if you're on the outskirts of the battle, and if you're running in a small group the other guys would immediately know that one of you have called in a vehicle because they would get a denied message, it's so silly when you're rolling as a two and you both stop and call in LAV's |
