hey. sorry if the subject seems misleading, i didn't know what to put.
i was wondering what people would think of having a system in place that would show the isk lost for that specific player during a match.
to add to that idea, after a match it could be forwarded to an after battle report in game that i guess someone with a specific role could see.
it would help corporations that plan to use corp funds to pay for member losses during contracts or just from general games.
not only that but it would.. hmm i don't want to jump to conclusions about people but it would give the corporation more information on the players that intend to use this system... just in case they accidentally miss-spelled militia with proto on their request.
i dunno. just throwing the idea out there, maybe it'd take up to many resources but hey i'm no dev so i'll let y'all decide. |

This has been suggested many times before. Not sure if CCP is listening but it does sound like a good idea. |

There are third party killboards in Eve that do this but a handful of things are not yet implemented in Dust to make this happen. Eve killboards that post battle reports with both individual and corp losses per battle require the market to be active to standardize ISK losses and API verification of battle losses/kills. This is the very short version. For now, pen and paper works. |

Well this would work now, but in the long run, gear will be sold by other players exclusively, and prices will fluctuate. Because of this its difficult to put a hard value on what you lose, unless you use the price that you paid for it which may be very different from what it is currently. Not to mention that you may have 50 of a suit that cost one amount and 50 that cost a different amount, making pinning down the actual cost tricky.
Not a bad idea, I just think it would need some careful consideration before implementation once the open market is live. |

Killboards in eve handle this with fancy behind the scenes EVE API wizardry that calculates what each item is worth at the time it's lost. Sometimes, they put out hilariously wrong numbers and people sperg about it. Once dust has it's own API released and people start making things, i'm sure we'll see the same setups. |

This sounds like a rough replication of the killmail feature in EVE. I imagine this would be something that is possible. We always like to show people how much they killed/lost, so I'll make sure someone knows that this is a request.
Speaking of requests, that's where this should go! So moving to Feedback/Requests. |

I'd also like to see a stat on how much ISK you destroyed. Then, you could compare ISK destroyed to ISK lost, and see how cost-effective a player is. The only problem I see here is this makes vehicles a FAR more high value target. Killing 17 of my Type-II Heavy (~37,000 ISK) would be equivalent to killing one of my Sica (~650,000 ISK). I suppose that sounds fair on paper, but it is going to make a lot more people try to kill that Sica than we have currently. |

I had my own thread requesting this as well. We're corporations, profit and loss is important. We need to see how much we and other players lost on the match. |

The more people trying to kill vehicles, the better imo. |
