No this is not another bad post about sp but one of encouragement.
CCP, i dont understand your reasoning on only allowing one clone to have an activated passive going at one time. To simply bypass this is to create another sony PSN account and activate it on the other account. Some people do this already.
It seems to me if you allowed all 3 clones to have active passive skills going your ability to increase you capital gains increases with clones having the option to purchase the bonus passive skill and/or standard bonus.

X 3 accounts per month = 56,000 Aur per month. Im not logged on to see how much money that is in real life cash but i believe CCP is missing out on potential capital.
I can hear the arguements about having multiple clones going and what not but it is easily defended by having multiple PSN accounts.

It's mostly just a counter-measure until they get API checking in. Prevents people from throwing Mercenaries in all of the alliances to play spy. |

Dishonored? A good spy in eve can take years to be trusted with corp hanger privlages and titan Pos parking lot passcodes.
Playing with carebears you dont like and pretenting to give a ****. Waitting for that moment when the servers restarte and your standing by with 8 titan pilots and 3 jump freighter pilots ready to clean them out. |

Back on topic, I agree with the OP and while I'd love to see the API system active in Dust there's no reason to void passive xp until it arrives. We don't have corp hangers in dust, we don't have a market, or mobile assets. We lack most of the features that make infiltration worth anything so the only game in town right now (aside from simply trying to pilfer the corp wallet is still donation only) is to attempt to get someone in with a dust corp that's already linked to EVE interests in hopes of gaining valuable intel, and that too can be done regardless of passive xp gain and API presence.

ps ~ speaking of passive xp gain I'd really love to get word about the fix for all of it that I and other players lost due to the bug. |

If we were allowed to have passive sp on all 3 of our toons, then most would just make the 3 toons and let 2 of them sit for a year. CCP would not get any booster money from me. However if they wanted to change it to where the booster would allow passive gains on more than one toon, then that would probably be in their best interest. The passive booster doesn't give very much sp and ccp would get more money. |

Who do you lose honor with exactly? To your corp mates your Da Man, a sleeper agent who just single handedly crippled your enemys and made a crap ton of isk.
Do you care what your enemy thinks of you? What is honor in EvE? Is a gate camp Honorable, the blob thats attacks the minning bardge, the FW pilot that fights you at a gate with nuetral logi.
Theres no Honor between you and your enemy only Victory or Defeat. |

Just being in corprate chat with a dust alt provides me with intel of on fleet composition and location.
X up for your scub fleet to get hot dropped on.
And while Dustys cant do anything YET, there going to roll in intergation.
