Please, make all voice chat the same volume to the listener. Some is too damn loud, and others you can't hear. And one person says my volume is too high and another says it is too low. Damn annoying. |

...Okay. I'm not here to diss you guys, but you need to realise how voice chat differs from sounds programmed by CCP.
Voice chat, the stuff you hear from other people's microphones, is not made by CCP. So, the game does not know what is supposed to be loud and what is supposed to be quiet. If you yell at mic everyone hears you louder, if you whisper you're hard to hear. I suppose you're still following.
Now, people might have different distance to their mic. That affects. Mics might be different. That affects. People might have mics with input sensitivity. That affects. People might have different sensitivity on PS3 settings. That affects.
So: The only way to get even voice chat volyme is to have a chat and tell if someone is way louder than quieter than all the others. Help them to tune their mics.
On a sidenote: The general level of voice chat is too low, compared to dust sounds. I've have to set all dust sounds to 10%, with music 5%. THAT can CCP do something about (pump up the voice chat default volyme). |

I know my own has separate buttons for voice chat and game sounds. |
