CCP, please bring the black ops tanks into the game and add cloaking devices to vehicles. Tell me it wouldn't give you goosebumps to activate a cloaking device and sneak around the backside of an attacking force and decloak then rain lead at them with a scattered neuron blaster. Also the cloaking device would add some more strategy and use to your drop ship. though it would have to deactivated if anyone gets out of a vehicle or if anyone shoots. maybe last 30-45 seconds with a cool down time of 15 seconds? Very high cpu and pg demand. And make it a high slot( not many things are for me) The black ops tank should have somewhere around 4500 armour and idk about shield that's not my thing. And have enough CPU/PG to fit a cloak and a heavy repper with 2 plates 1 180mm the other 120mm. |

I don't actually hate a black ops dropship (perhaps with no guns, ideal for infantry insertions), but no freaking way on the HAV. They are perfectly raping face without being able to sneak around the damn map like a guy in a prototype scout suit with all his Scan Profile skills pegged.
MAYBE if the cloaks dropped the speed of the vehicle significantly AND scanning Eq was added so that infantry could scan down cloaked vehicles.
Still feels hokey to me. The things roll across the ground for goodness sakes. You'd see the ground get churned up in real life and hear the roar of the engines (both tank and dropship). |

sorry, but no way in hell do tanks need to turn invisible. way too easily abused, and tankers already hide enough behind mountains because they're afraid to lose their precious toys.
only one thing i see as viable cloak toys are the drop ships, because its damned hard to get to a point and drop off a bunch of troops without everyone and their mom blowing you out of the sky |
