Ive decided to hold off on going proto assault because of the racial varients that are supposed to be coming in next build. I mean why spend 1.2 mill SP when i can compete against 95% of the people in this game using my B-series?? For the next month i think im going to just level up support/passive skills then from then on ill be saving up until the next patch comes. Not sure which suits will have what bonuses to it so if it turns out that caldari assault suits are awful for lasers compared to the amarr varients i wont feel like ive been too shafted.
So one month is about 2 million in support skill invests, then from then hopefully i can save up another million or two before the major content patch comes out. Is anyone else doing/planning something similar? or are you guys just dead set on hitting proto suits? |

Im still doing vehicles but once i get to a better place in terms of skill ill start saving up. In the next update there may be classes we haven't heard of/racial varriants. I don't want to go Minnie logistics until I see if gallente logistics is better. |

I was saving up to get proto. I was dead set on it. Once have all armor, shield and AR passive skills maxed up, as well as having at least 50 million ISK, then I'll upgrade to my protosuit.
Just you wait, The new Racial suits will be protosuits. And when everybody comes to the forum to cry about it, CCP will say we gave you more than enough time |

oh my thats dedication, yeah i want to get my gun skills up too, it would be amazing to have smg sharpshooter to level 10 (40% range bonus with stupidly tight spread = sniper smg). |

There are tons of support skills to get right now. Focus on getting all your tier 1 and 2 skills done now so that even when a racial variant is out you can use the suit to the best of its ability. |

i've felt this way about B series since the last build, i have a dropship that needs sp, havnt had proto since july, B is a good bang for my buck |

I have 4 million sp and no advanced suits yet. I want tanks but won't invest untill minmatar artillery tanks are out. |

I'm focusing on being able to fit my type-II as best as possible and getting all of the dropsuit support skills (profile dampening, field mechanics, shield control etc) as high as possible before upgrading suits :) but yes I am hanging out for racial suits to see what my options are! |

I'm getting that Caldari logistics. I'm sure it will be super classy, not like the lame Minmatar dropsuit. I would also love to have the Amarr assault dropsuit to match with the laser rifle.  |

The Wheel of Nerf turns and FOTMs come and go, leaving skill points that become dormant. Dormant fades to long abandoned, and even abandoned is long forgotten when the FOTM that gave it birth returns again.
Skill today, cause we play for the FOTM of today, not that of tomorrow.
And no SP is lost, cause in a few years the cycle completes. |

Saving here, soon i will be a proto bear. I have most of my sub skills ready but i will wait a week or 2 after getting my b series to begin using it effectively on the field. i tried out the aurum suit today and man its nice. Can't wait to run around in a B series firing my shotgun randomly just to scare people :D hell i may even do double lvl 5 red stims just to be a bit pluckier on the open stretches of land. SoonGäó |

A lot of saving, but honestly I spend a lot also when I see things I need/want. I just want to be able to jump to level 3 real fast once the new system comes out. |

I just getting all my basics up first. Shields , armor, and Weapon Proficiency. That alone is going to take me a well anyway. I'll worry about dropsuits when they come.  |
