Hardly go up there in Ambush but i think it's a very valid tactic for Skirmish. I've been putting drop uplinks on those things for ages.
Also, if we're going to talk about this, what about the platform in the middle of Line Harvest? Or on top of those warehouses? |

Getting the high ground is a time tested tactic of any military. Those pipes are the high ground, so it is smart to do this. I do this because it's smart and people don't look up or use mics so no one tells anyone else, and I get more kills. |

I put an uplink on the pipe above the walkway going to B every single time I get into that map, it's such a good spot, especially in Skirmish. It lets you quickly attack B and C, and you're not much further from A either, and it's somewhat difficult to notice / camp. |

Lasers in high places aren't that big of deal once ARs get sharpshooter to at least prof 3. Now a good mass driver that has plenty of nanohive can be brutal |

This has been the way to play since the beta began I think. I still remember the occasional dropship that'd poop people out onto the roof of the Biomass buildings back during the Craterlake days. |

I know it appears that way because you had two good games on those pipes with that laser. But it really isn't...it's just coincidental that I posted today.
I've been playing ambush all morning and in every game....you see guys starve to get up there. They get shot and still go up there. And it just made me think....man, whoever did it first should have trademarked it or something. So, I'm just giving them recognition. |

Lasers are a big deal when you have the Viziam laser rifle with higher than sharpshooter 5 and stacked complex damage modifiers with self nanohives. |

You seriously posted this nonsense? With everything going on in Dust this is the best you could do? You really think that no one would climb up that ladder they see in front of them. Or are you complaining because they put the ladder there to climb up. Maybe we should get rid of all objects make it a perfectly flat field and just go.

Extremely simple solution- snipe them, and snipe the uplink. I know sniping the uplink is possible because I've done it before |

Well now that you mention it sometimes I run a scout MD combo and when up in the pipes being a pipe rat I set out some nanohives then I dedicate myself to using the mass driver to be a mass-hole....lol! |
