What hand signals have you guys come up with or seen in battle for teammates without headsets? I've seen someone gesturing towards the ground or ducking a few times asking for a nanohive, post any you've seen or want to make more common for the blueberries (me included). |

There used to be a thread about it, but I'm not sure where it went. I believe punching a logi and switching to a sidearm and back again is the signal for drop a nanohive
Another one (that I try constantly but nobody ever listens to) is repeatedly punching/shooting someone who is in one of my vehicles. It means get out or switch seats, for a variety of reasons. A common reason is actually not so I can ditch your blueberry ass- it's so I can repair your armor. Well, if I'm punching you while holding a repair tool, it's because I want to repair your armor. |

Only need one hand signal for blue dots. Unfortunately I can't hold certain fingers down while leaving one up. |

I generally only ever;
Melee them to tell them to move
Shoot them to make them stop hacking something, or make them move if I can't reach them for a melee,
Fire 3 quick bursts with my laser to indicate danger in that location. If I'm on coms, then a longer burst is used to indicated to a teammate whatever it is I'm trying to indicate if I can't describe the location succintly enough. |

oh yah I do that too. Sometimes if that doesn't work I can TK them before they finish the hack, but it's rare. |

one signal is when you are hacking the last objective before pushing a red line, constant incoming friendly fire means STOP hacking and allow the enemy to have the objective for various reasons 0o |

When calling in vehicles, I fire a short burst at the ground where I'm calling it in. Sort of a "Dont stand here or deploy anything here".
Unfortunately, this only seems to excite blueberries, who start shooting at me. |

Blueberries in their natural habitat are quite skittish. Make sure to keep a safe distance or you will startle them causing them to do stupid things...... |

yes I too have observed some rather interesting blueberrie behaviour, they seem to flock to my myron like lemmings running amok up untill our team is redlined, then all of a sudden they ignore the only vehicle that can pull them out of this red line I mean WTF . Sticking with the origenal post i think we should develope some sort of gesture system so there is no supprises for the rather skittish blueberries. id say a bulit in the face means get out the mcc and fight ?? any more sugestions?? |

I'm not too keen on signals that may provoke friendly fire if/when it is implemented. Some may think the blueberries deserve it, some of them certainly do; but please don't shoot me, I'm a logibro.

Also, I wish someone showed up with a DS when I get redlined. Especially when people switch to sniping; I'm a logi, how am I supposed to support people like that?! |

I've noticed when people fall over, generally they tend to want to be administered a shot from an injector. |

I ran up to a (random) dropship pilot, and shot towards the location i wanted to go...tried it with an AR and a sniper rifle. With the AR he took me to the closest objective in the direction i shot, and wit the Sniper rifle he took me to the high ground in that direction. Worked out the way i hoped. |

I honestly think most DS pilots are really friendly, and will gladly act as your personal taxi.
Just don't jump into my DS in the foreseeable future - it is likely to go straight into the nearest wall/building/cliff/lamppost and blow up, and you generally don't want to be inside when it happens. /me is still learning to drop

I've wondered why folks have meleed me multiple times before.. drop a hive, got it. Though, I have a freaking mic so telling me works best :P
Shooting me will make me hate you and leave you. I like the squats a few time for resupply better than hitting me because it still flashes red on my screen and I don't like that. |

The operative word in this whole thing is 'understanding'. We could come up with any sort of hand signals we wanted to and it would work in large part for those of us who are aware of what is going on around us.
However, trying to get the typical blueb to do anything sensible is a large undertaking. If you could come up with a way to stop them from doing something ill advised, I think you would be the leading candidate for whatever New Eden has similar to a Nobel Prize. Ive seen 5 people open up on a blueb to get him to stop hacking a CRU to no effect.
Sadly, I think the only solution here is going to be through negative reinforcement when FF becomes available. |

As a DS pilot, i can say yes i will taxi you around, however, if you are a horrible shot please get off the turrets. I have hovered directly above tanks many times to watch Blue Berries not fire a single shot at them. That said, if you are in a DS and the pilot just sits on the ground at the base spawn for no reason....(at least in my case) it is because they want you to exit the vehicle. so they can get another (better) gunner.
Also on this note, please dont jump into tanks unless the seat has been open for a while. |

I run around melee-ing people all the time. I don't need a reason. It just looks cool when their shield block the shot and turn blue.
It's also something to do if there's no enemy to shoot and I don't want to waste bullets. |

I tend to just look straight up in the air after ordering a vehicle, if nobody appears to be paying attention I fire a couple shots to signal it's incoming on that spot then I back up. (not forward)
What I've been trying to figure out (but I'm pretty sure it's a no) is if people can hear my gun clicking empty like I can in hopes they'll drop a nano. That would be a great sound addition.
If I drop a nano behind a sniper I tend to rifle butt him hoping he'll turn around and see it. It's just too hard to get a sniper's attention otherwise.
Another sound addition might be a buggy / tank car horn. If I wanted someone out of my vehicle I could just sit there blasting it, or vice-versa to get people to climb in.
The most success I've had to date was when someone managed to get in my tank before me and wound up the driver. Mad as all hell I jammed the triangle button rapidly switching between the two gunner slots. He figured it out and and switched. Wouldn't work with a third person though.
If I have an extra slot in a tank and want gunners I stop and shoot at their feet, that seems to work pretty good too.
By the way, I love the dropship signal, a sniper shooting where he wants to go.... Gotta try that one.

When squad leader selects his wheel it brings up defend, attack...etc. how about adding a wheel to everyone for ,need medic, repair, vehicle pickup...etc like the one in MAG.

I find that a shot at whoever is about to get killed by incoming vehicles works. But I use Forge Gun so maybe its just that it scared the ever livings out of them since they tend to scatter. Works when you need to get capers to push forward to. |
