Is there a way of changing your load out wheel? By the way I use a controller..... This is a bit of an annoyance when I try to change to my side are then it selects my nanohive/repair tool instead.
And the other day when I was playing the neocom came up (during a fire fight) without me selecting it. |

Just click R2 and it switches automatically to your sidearm, holding the button is only used for pulling out equipment. |

Say I'm wanting to change to repair tool and accidentally select side arm. If I continue to press R2 will this go to next load out? |

No - Clicking R2 will only cycle between your primary and secondary weapons. |

If you want to change the positioning, you can do it by moving the slots around in your dropsuit. If you're a logi and you have a repair tool in one slot and a nanite injector in another, and would like to switch the positioning of the two when you hold R2, you can just switch the equipment in the equip slots on your dropsuit. It won't immediately change until you switch suits (or spawn) so the best way is to do it near a supply depot.
There's no way to move the slots other than that, so usually it's a good idea to keep stuff similar between load outs. For instance, if your AR suit has a nanite injector, and your logi suit does too, make sure that the nanite injector on the logi suit comes up in the same position as your AR suit. That should make things simpler.
You can't reposition certain slots too, for instance the high slots are on the top half, and low are on the bottom. Eventually we'll be able to move them around, but atm nope.
edit: deleted me saying "no" to the above comment- I was slow at posting this xD |
