I was making some last minute changes to a fitting and re-stocking from the market before a battle. I thought I had just enough time to complete the re-stock before we moved from the warbarge to battle.
But I could not spawn into battle because I wuld get infinite loading wheel on the dropsuit menu instead of a choice to pick a loadout when trying to spawn into battle. COuld not access fittings through the neocom, same problem.
Had to leave my squad and quit out of the match. Tried a new match, same issue.
Quitting the game and re-starting it seemed to clear the unable to spawn into battle because of infinite loading wheel in fittings menus thing. |

Happened to me today as well.
Guess prevention is the best medicine. I'm just not going to fiddle with my loadouts while I'm "Waiting for Deployment" anymore. |

Yeah I think 90% crashes happen when
you try use market, fitting when, game load between locations, you die clone reserve is 0 you press respawn, and you have crash, or you wait for deployment (5s) you go to fiting you have crash . |

My advice is never access Fittings or Market while waiting for deployment or in the War Barge.
There are just too many problems possible and they all have nasty consequences.
This issues have been reported many times and some have been fixed* or improved but many remain. It is a complex product with limited resources (from what I can discern). Caution is advised.
* The --:-- time out value when respawning is gone. If you accessed your Fitting and didn't decide quick enough the timer would drop to zero. The time value would show as --:-- and you were done for the rest of the match. |
