I was thinking that a cool addition to the game would be the ability to call in a different weapon or module for your dropsuit while in the field. It would come in on a supply ship like the vehicles but it would just drop a crate. It would bring a few new aspects to the game that a currently not present.
1. The ability to call in weapon systems and modules for your squad mates. 2. The ability to acquire salvage off the battlefield before it is over.
The catch would be that the only things able to be called in on the field would have to be purchased with Aurum. Another would be that your supply drop could be taken by Reds if you don't have proper protection for the drop.
I know that installation drops are on the horizon and if the supply depot is going to be one of them then great. I assume, though that those will cost you a pretty penny. This would be a less expensive way to call in a weapon/suit/module drop.

If I wanted to switch to a dif dropsuit/ module then I call in a supply depot which would also support my team big time |

Right, you can call in a supply depot. But then your team mates won't benefit from YOUR inventory...just their own. Plus as I said it would be cheaper than a supply depot, or maybe take less time to fly in.
Doesn't make sense? How do you figure walking up to a supply depot and changing out makes more sense?
Freakin negative Nancy......

AUR items are bought with REAL money and I'm sure the supply depots are going to have ISK versions (prior to the fanfest trailr)..that's why I don't agree with this friend and btw I'm not being negative I'm just trying to see how this would work
