Bullshit. I know a bunch of the Unreal players, and most carry around prototype weapons and A-series+ suits. You also have a few good Madrugars, possibly a Surya, so the "gear" excuse is complete bullshit.

Once we get to 24 v 24 scrub corps like unreal that have a few good players will get stomped

Proto suites are also more beneficial in ambush all out slayer type of games then in skirmish because good team work with acceptional gear can prevail in a skirmish battle. You can never be afraid to fail if you expect to succeed.

Balac's Gar-21 Assault Rifle is not an item you can buy with AUR.

In dust terms you could argue that its worth more then certain aurum items because of its rareity . Such a rewarding feeling knowing that with each death the opponent has one less.
