I want a fire range. with paper (or holo) targets. have damage readouts, custom ranges and targets. also put in a vehicle testing ground holodeck. granted the drones are coming, but a controlled environment without them shooting you is better for testing out new kits. make it so, if you need 5000 SP more for a skill, you could earn in the range.
another benefit of this is when your squad is busy messing about in their merc room, and you are done, the range will help pass the time. |

I fully support the idea of a shooting range but getting SP for doing nothing except test your weapons? No. |

yes please, allow squads and maybe corps enter it as well.
allow us to also test
Rep speed vs infantry and vehicles, running speed, waking speed, hacking speed,
allow us to shoot (but never kill) people in the range with us, just magically keep their armor about 1 or something. that way we can see if a guy getting say, 4 armor reps from a logi can survive in your face shots with an HMG or laser or something.
but no to testing range= gaining SP unless it is highly limited weekly or something. |

Or have ranges included on the weapons, along with useful stats like DPS (with actual bonuses against vehicles or infantry listed) |

No. yeah what you earn in passive is reward enough for doing nothing... as of the gun range, yes please... stats mean nothing when it comes to weapons allowing us to test them before ever entering a game would be an awesome feature. |

Definitely.
I need a safer place to put in practice with my mass drivers. Practice makes perfect with those, and I just about have it down as far as hitting far away targets. Now I need practice with getting direct hits at close range. |

in real life, you go to a range to get skill at shooting, so why in the game that has SP? |

Firing Range: SP -- not given Adjustable ranged targets Damage readouts
I would say the KISS principal should apply. We don't need to be able to earn SP here, the ability to test the firing arc of the mass driver should be an adequate compensation to the merc using the firing range. If he can figure out how to use the gun he becomes a better merc. |

I'm for this if we don't get any SP. Let's name it "Training Grounds" and have it belong to your corp. Battles get you SP, Training Grounds get you PS (player skill, or at least some practice). There would also be a sparring ground, where your corp friends are split up into two teams. No one gets SP or ISK from this, but you don't lose any items due to death in the mock match. |

I like this idea. Perhaps it would be suitable to be in the warbarge? As for the range itself I think it should have holo targets that can be selected by the player. Select either infantry suits to shoot at or park a simulated tank at the end of the range and fine tune your AV set up. |
