So far the only thing I know about the war barge is that it holds ur stuff and we travel with it.

I know that we all wont have our personal war barge,so if there are say 50 of us on one war barge and we all want to different places how will that work? what will we do on the way to battle? How much stuff can we hold? Whos driving? What do the insides look like

The war barge is a staging area so to speak. It's where all of your stuff (until there are warehouses) is kept. It hold the tanks, lavs dropships and even mcc's just to give you an idea of how big it is. Your merc quarters are on a war barge. For now that's about all we know.

If you create a Corp the Hq of ur Corp is the station in which ur merc quarters are

The War Barge is the big thing in space that we stand around in prior to a battle.

In theory, the war barge is a MASSIVE spacecraft that holds a bunch of MCCs, RDVs, dropships, massive clone banks, etc.

At some point, they may actually become targets themselves, so for instance a War Barge might be attacked and defended by EVE pilots and if destroyed, the mercs on the ground would have less resources until someone could get another one into orbit.

As far as travel, it's been established in at least one short story that mercs sometimes travel from system to system by dying. Since clones are made from corpses it's not a huge waste of biomass. Each clone has a "kill switch" and so to get from Planet A to Planet B, you simply trigger the switch. A drone then comes by and throws the body (almost completely intact) into a clone vat that resets the kill switch and keeps the cells alive until the clone is needed again.

So you'll get to walk around it or something?

I'm hoping they'll expand it. I've seen some good suggestions about VR training rooms and whatnot.

Yep. Corp owned, corp controlled. It also fires precision strikes and sends your vehicles.

Supposedly, the war barge is only needed for travel to planets your corp has no footing in.

Previously (another 2009 demo like the one with the fighter gameplay), you could walk freely around the war barge. See things like the MCC hangar. The broken down tram system is apparently how we get around in.

That was made on the CARBON engine, developed by CCP, The engine we are using now, is the unreal engine. Not as powerfull but maybe earier to develop for...

Anyhorse :) CCP, expand this feature, for the moment the war barge has no use! (in DUST)
