My recommendation is to get a mic, then when you have a nice convo with someone in game, invite them. |

There's that, and also the problem that CCP (last I checked) turned voice comms off by default. Thus, probably 90% of players don't hear you. Add to that the channel selection question (on which channel did they "Activate Voice"?), you might be at 95% not hearing you.
However, aside from posting thoughtful discussions on the forums and a recruitment ad in the appropriate section, voice comms are the only way to recruit. Plus, if you voice chat, you at least know they can operate the comms and can see them in battle. |

i normally just put in a general post in the team channel before the match starts telling people to join a squad, those who do end up with the highest amount of kills or playing the objective. |

ppl have different methods mainly spamming local but if i'm from the school of thought that you should at least squad with someone first to see if they'll fit with the corp, else you get a bunch of random ppl who don't share the same playstyles and you get more personality clashes then theres those guys with out a mic who the corp never really see's or hears from. when you go this random spam route it doesn't seem like you're doing much more than filling up a list with names. it's also easier to not invite someone in the first place then have to kick them out later and if your just spamming local for randoms you'll be doing more kicking later. |
