So for my Grimsnes, I have an Energized Nanite Plating module (+11% passive armor resistance) and a Carapace Armor Hardener (+25% active armor resistsance). My question is how, if at all, the stacking penalties apply to this, and what the resistances are (with and without the hardener activated). Thanks in advance for the help! |

Resistance is Not armor increase. It reduces the effectiveness of each round by X percentage.
Passive is always there while Active requires fiddling with the silly interface.
The is a stacking penalty and until you try it I doubt it would be clear. CCP has bad documentation and has rarely, If Ever, clarified how their dodgy documentation should be interpreted. Why would they change now?
However, the Stacking penalty is currently bugged or simply not working. That has been stated by the Devs and is On The Super Secret List of things to fix. Most things on the list are unknown to us and Everything regarding their schedule is unknown to us my choice would be to use them all and see how they work.
Check the Bug Updates post in the Technical Support/Bugs Forum (sticky near the top) and see when they say it is done in the patch notes. Which don't actually seem to be available as we have had several fixes but not patch notes, per se.
Try them out and post the results in this Forum.
Good Luck. |

Good Luck. Thanks for the reply. However, it didn't really answer my question. If I am thinking of this correctly, it will always have the 11%, and then it will have 11% + ~25%. The exact value (lessened due to the stacking penalty) is what I am wondering about. And currently there is no way to quantify it, as there is no data showing the values for armor resistance, etc. And if there is no working stacking penalty, it should be 11% without and 36% with, correct? |
