I guess I don't understand what you're saying.
Are you implying that most people currently play heavies? If so, I'd like to see your evidence, because my own experiences don't seem to line up with that claim. I'd say I notice about 1/4 of the players on the field in heavy suits in Ambush, and even less in skirmish. If anything, the heavy suit is still under represented.
What are you getting at exactly? |

Randoms don't seem too fond of Heavy Suits, but I've been in games with stacked squads of almost all heavies.
If you're seeing games of 1/4 heavies, then the heavy suit is being as represented as it should. With 4 varieties of suits, 25% is around what we should be expecting to see from heavies. At least for now. Any more would suggest an extreme under representation of another suit.
The OP isn't really getting at anything. All he's saying is that heavy suit is easy mode and he's disappointed in the majority of the community for taking the easy route. This is obviously an opinion based off little evidence, and the only reason he created the thread was to vent his frustration over his inability to shoot a guy in a heavy suit. |

:) I liked older builds better, where heavies were quite rare and I was usually the only one on my team. Now it's all popular, boooo.
But either way, if you think that's bad, be glad you didn't play closed beta, where 95% of any given team was assault guy with AR. Laser-accuracy and dispersion, no recoil whatsoever. Terribad.

The majority of people use AR's and Assault suits...which seems to be the easiest otherwise you'll see the majority of people using heavy + HMG. |

Heavies will dominate Ambushes simply due to the closed in nature of the maps ATM. Give some distance, and their weaknesses become apparent. |

Heavies definitely seem to be becoming more and more common. Running into full squads of heavies . . . solid heavies, not paper heavies. Getting a little old. |

Iv'e dropped 100+ with just about every single gun in both MAG and BO2.
Simple damage outputs shows they are severely OP not to mention the added health from the suit to boot.

Assault AR has always been the best loadout in all the builds I've been a part off. In closed beta the proto tac rifles had 0 recoil. I literally mean 0. You just put it on a guy at any range and pump out 300-1000dps depending on how fast you can hit the trigger. |

Wrong.
Mass driver, LR, Sniper, LAV, Tank, other heavies, cover + teamwork, actual player skill.
Just a few of the things that would have removed those heavies no problem. |
