5 tanks in a single game. My squad managed to blow up one of them with our collective swarms, and heavily damage a few others through the rest of the match.
Don't you guys think that bringing down 5 tanks in a pub ambush match is a little overkill? |

Had one hell of a Skirmish earlier with WTF rolling proto suits and 6 tanks through the fight. Was one of the best payout matches I've ever played. |

Had some douchebags who somehow managed to get two squads from their corp on the same team, bring in 7 tanks, no joke. Our whole entire team sat on top of the roof the whole game with swarms and AV grenades while calling in LAV's to drive them off into the tanks below, I wish i could've recorded it(PS4!!!). Of course we always end up having those 2 or 3 blueberries too stupid not to spawn on the uplinks on the roof and they basically cost us the game. |

got to look at it this way STB is a corp that been here from EA build

now i was there to and the fact that the best TD in game was on there side and the other side was just running glass AR and shotguns yeah why not drop 7 tanks? they knew the other side was not going to use AV
and when they did it was to late. |

just an fyi, I played a game the other day where the enemy team dropped 5 tanks on us.They rolled us. But after a re-spawn we wiped them off the map, in quite short order (Assault FG, some swarms and a crazy logi with AV grenades).
Dedicated AV will trash a tank with some team work. Prioritize targets and lay on the firepower. |

Totally, right? I mean its so awesome that STB found out how to drive 5 tanks with a squad of 4 people. Its so impossible that maybe you just came across a STB squad that was a tank driver heavy squad instead of one of our MANY infantry squads and called in two tanks and the other three were blueberries who felt confident enough to call in their ****** tanks cause the two STB tanks made the field safe enough for their militia tanks.
Its great how every worthwhile corp out there has tank drivers but somehow STB is the only corp out there who "spams"tanks.
w/e, i've been a tanker since the days of 75k ISK marauders and will always continue to be. (until MTACs maybe... )
edit: BTW, a lot of our higher ups like quick and biggz DETEST tanks and will go out of their way to **** us up if they fight against up lol. good fun |

I've been in a few pub matches that's had SVER tank squads, they tend to drop 2, with the other 2 acting as gunners and in each of those games their team has had 3+ tanks, simply because smurfs see SVER tanks they assume their tank will now be invulnerable XD

you've never used a tank have you....put a newberry in a 2.5 million isk tank and it wont last 2 minutes in any pub match. Tanks take a ridiculous amount of skill. Gear is less than half the battle. |

STB has A LOT of decent tankers, but it's the extremely rich corps that deploy extremely high end tanks with pilots that are nothing short of epic that easily wipe out 4-5 tanks before they lose one of theirs- (PFBHZ, PRO, ZION, etc). These tanks are simply too expensive for small corps to field every battle. Honestly, having one good tanker in an amazing tank is a lot more economical than deploying 5 standard level tanks. |
