This is my first time playing Dust 514, and I wanted to join a squad with my friend so we can play and talk together. I created a squad and sent my friend an invite, but he never received it. He then sent me an invite, which I didn't get. We have tried for about 10 minutes to join a squad together to no avail. Anyone have ideas on how to fix it? |

Try creating a private chat first. Keep the name unique as there are a many of them and if someone guesses the name they can join as well. Which may or may not matter.
Once that works you can synchronize the efforts more easily.
I have no idea if cross region plays into this as I regularly squad and chat with cross region players. |

Make sure you aren't in a squad when you guys are sending each other invitations. Even if it's a one person squad. Both of you leave the squads, so that all you have is "Create A Squad" as your option. You shouldn't even see your name with little picture up there. Then one of you two create a squad, and invite. If either one of you are in a squad, even as one person, it won't send the invite. |

Watch out for the "team bug" too. Once a match ends the "team" chat should go away. If it's still there in your merc quarters, you're screwed and will have to restart. |
