Don't worry CCP, I will forever play dust (will play more if you would update anytime soon), but what is Destiny? Is it going to be an RPG or something? From what I have seen it looks pretty cool, but I have no clue what it is.
Tell me what it is.

Destiny will be almost like DUST, but with the difference that you will have an offline mode (campaing mode, local co-op and such) and the online mode which is almost like a big open world, you can travel between cities, fight against Raid bosses with a party, be part of many online events and such things... at least that's the early info you can get about the game and also by making some especulations, after all Bungie stated that Destiny is a long term project with 10 years of life from now on, so in other worlds Destiny and Bungie will be the main rivals of DUST and CCP. |

Pretty much from what I've heard Destiny is going to be. A full open world, explore, MMOFPS on the PS3/PS4. Think PlanetSide 2 but on the PlayStation with a 10 year + life plan. |

From what I've heard, it's not a true MMOFPS, but other people drop in/out almost automatically.
The closest thing to this are the Blue/Black ghosts of the Dark Souls series. When it's needed, you just "happen" upon the other guy's game, either to help or harm.
As for the gameplay, if it's open-world I'll be very impressed. Full shooter gameplay, space combat, the entirety of the Sol system to explore... And with the PS4's specs, I have reason to believe quite a bit of it. |

Seems more like coop pve game, but if built for ps3 will have bunch of limitations just like dust, so will be interesting to see same game on two platforms. Anyway, dust is heavily focused on pvp and bigger battles and conquering universe. I see destiny like instanced pve coop thing that really isn't that big. |
