The war ends on the advent rising of capsuleeers Caldari among the first to have the empyrean technology given to them by Jovian. While not married to cloning technology at the time any ship pod pilot was 10x stronger than regularly crewed ships and begins to create the most interesting of stalemates.

Jove, descendants of the sleepers, an original race that crossed the wormholes, are a highly advanced left over race from the first two dark ages after the gate collaspe, they're a dying race and have chosen the current inhabitants of New Eden as their inheritors. Concord was formed when the four empire peace treaty was signed in Yulai, forming the current year system and rules that govern New Eden in peace and war.
Yulai convention basically gives the immortal capsuleers free reign of their own rights, a risk the empires where willing to accept because of the cost effectiveness of capsuleer pilots as well as the notion no capsuleer nation could ever rise to rival the empires. So nullsec and low sec became mostly ruled by the pod pilots. While the navies of the empires maintain high sec and concord with the threat of pod jamming technology made sure they behaved in high sec.
Empires where in generalized begrudged peace for a good 5-6 years. Minmatar struggled to find their own republic, Caldari bidding their time against the Gallante.
Until a Gallente Admiral Noir decided to crash his mothership nyx into a peace delegation that would have help end the tensions between the two nations.

This attack leads to a chain of events that put Tibus Heth in power of all of Caldari, and reconquest of Caldari Prime with a Caldari Navy Titan in orbit still.
Meanwhile the fury of Minmatar being oppressed came out of the shadows and had made an attempt on concord destroying their HQ.

This later lead to a follow up attack that cut a path of destruction so massive and wide though Amarrian lines. The fleet was revealed to be a missing tribe the Amarrian thought they had wiped out in generations before and their fury was brought all the way to Amarr Prime.

It was then Jamyl Sarum, whom thought to have been killed from the succession trails of the Amarr for selection of new emperors, arrived with a heavily modified abbadon battleship armed with a Terran weapon called a nova cannon and saved the planet from destruction. She is crowned Empress for saving amarr.

With these attacks the empires where at a 'controlled' war against each other. Heavily relaying on the capsuleers to do most of the fighting as they couldn't afford to weaken their navies in any major efforts.
During this time Emperess Jamyl's impressive resurrection trick was without its faults... she has a dark sinister presence within her and she's well aware of it. So to keep the presence from doing anything rash she had the Nova Cannon lost from her memory and records to be out of reach of the presence.

Eventually the cannon was destroyed without knowledge of its hazards. This destabilizes every isogen 5 isotope throughout the galaxy ripping apart the space fabric to the point natural wormholes are generated. Brave ventures went into the wormholes to find remains of the sleeper civilization where fulleride based technologies began to develop.
This is where they found the sleeper implant you see in the dust 514 intro movie. Amarr where the among the first to find out the properties and began to experiment with it on a new set of clone soldiers. Eventually all four empires wind up with the technology and its now a mad arms race. |
