make it so a tank or other vehicle can only be driven by the requestor, unless hacked by the enemy.
I got shot during a tank request, respawned, and had to get in my tank as a turret operator, because the other player took it. He was a complete noob, trashing my 400k tank in around 1.5 minutes. A tank I had previously won an ambush with. Frustrating when it happens. |

In a previous build I specialized into tanks and one thing i found really irritating was not being able to leave my tank or else someone would jump in the driver seat. Or being next to a letter that's free for the taking but ur gunner won't get out to hack it; those moments I would've loved to have an option to lock the driver seat of the tank.
I think that making vehicles only driven by the requestor makes it a bit too restrictive. I'd rather have the ability to hold down R2 while in a tank and choose to keep the tank unlocked or locked, and being able to choose a default. |

Interesting idea about selective lock, but if you get shot while the tank is being dropped in , there is the problem of noobs taking your tank and losing it. |

Don't call in a tank in a danger zone.
Also, don't leave the tank once you're in it. You don't have to do anything besides drive the thing. Want to hack an objective? Give someone a ride and they can do it for you, stop trying to solo everything. |

I was unlucky to get sniped in an area full of blues, hence my frustration. I dont generally get out of tanks, unless they are about to explode. |

I agree that once you're in your tank, you shouldn't get out. But there is no guarantee you have the chance to be the first one in in the first place. The idea of locking it with your r2 is genius. But I would settle for a 5 second grace period where I'm the only one that can get in. |
