Suggestion: make nova knives use an equip slot and switch default melee when carried. Make the knives use melee skill and amplifiers in addition to knife spec skill.
Reason: this makes the knives stronger by the skill and drug synergies. Using the equip slot allows more flexibility and promotes wider usage. Currently the knives are a joke weapon, only used as a means of humiliation or revenge. Knives would be a funky addition as a medic sidearm this way. Fat suit not being able to carry them could be offset with a base melee damage boost, since the heavy weights knock harder anyhoo. |

I don't think increased melee damage would be worth an equipment slot to most medics. That's a pretty valuable slot to go filling with a knife. |

Would still prefer if the nova knife acted as your melee function. Like you click r3 once and it stays on your nova knife and press r1 to stab, sorta like the battlefield series. However you have to still buy the nova knife and restock it but it wouldn't take up space on your load out. |

to two of the posts above.... no, this is NOT COD or Battlefeild.
no knife melee for the r3 button... just no...
as for it eating up an equipment slot.... no way in hell, that removes the skill of it |

blah BBBblah blah(Translation) I want to do more damage than other players in CQB with my HMG that is the longest weapon therefore it has the longest reach and wield it like a club and have a higher melee base damage then all the other classes.This would help me and out as the only time a heavy is vulnerable in close quarters is when he is reloading.I also make the ass-umption that they heavy should hit harder than the other classes because it looks bigger because of armor,nevermind the fact that wearing all this armor would slow a persons swing down.
