Mass drivers have a base range of around 90 meters ish, it extends that. The missile will just vanish otherwise. |

I think it explodes after the 90 ish meters and sharp shooter extands the distance before it blows up.
Maybe it will have a motor type effect with more levels into sharpshooter.
Lets say it is 90 meters, at level 4 your range would be 108. You could hammer objectives from a far in perfect safety. |

The last time I played with the md (couple builds ago), it would extend the distance by launching the projectile slightly faster, thus appearing that there was less of an arc. So the more sharpshooting you had, the less of an arc there was for a set distance. I sucked at the weapon, so the less the arc the better, but i couldn't say if it is still that way. |

No it does not. It has a base range of ~135m.
Sharpshooter does absolutely nothing for the mass driver. |
