I am foramlly accpetting the challenges presented by smoker the extreme from Giant an some guy from subdreddit for competitve corp matches on behalf of STBEV
That bieng said we ran 5 matches tonight had balst thanks to PxRxO an its awsome members!
STB has a corp meeting tommorrow at 1 pm eastern If you would like i can have somitnh set up around 5 an again at 8 pm eastern
I will prolly not be in the matches as my family obligations keep me busy but ifully trust my B/C to handle your corps an give you a most enternating match!
As alwyas here's some spelling an grammer mistakes for you all!

So Quick at your corp meeting today did any of your guys set you straight?
For everyone else Quick was brought into the Dust Tourny chat channel last night (thanks for trying Kain) to sort out the tournament match we were supposed to have yesterday after I spent a large portion of the day trying to set up the match with no success. It seems STB were unaware of the matches that were supposed to take place despite the dates being clearly set in the original Tourny post and Kain posting the bracket. He linked this post then left.
So I'll help you guys out...Smoker whatever is not in G I A N T , he is in some corp named Alliance of Giants and has nothing to do with us, I made that clear to Spartan in the first thread when you guys called him out for trolling your recruitment thread.
After delaying any commitment a few times from Marston saying he didn't know if STB would have enough guys on (despite you guys apparently playing 5 matches yesterday I guess you didn't have the numbers to do the tournament match), Spartan finally said late in the evening/morning that you were ready to play after I repeated tried in the LFB chat again and again as instructed (again in the Tourny post). I past on the last second match as my guys were already tired of waiting and some had headed off. After a few more delays from Spartan the match was finally set for tonight at 10:30 Est for the 10 million ISK he requested.
Looking forward to it tonight, hopefully you make it a bit easier to set a match with your next opponents.

Sorry bout the delays, we were training our newer members for those other corp matches. Good game though tonight we were dissappointed by the loss. Nice shotgun squads swarms crazy good with remote HE and lasers. We think we should have done a lot better, maybe next time. CCP really should let you know which map it is going to be before the match in the warbarge, it would have changed pur strategy considerably.

It's ok bro no hard feelings on the delays it's just we could have been doing better things is all, and that it seemed no one told QG what was going on but it all worked out in the end. Know what you mean about not knowing the map ahead of time but we all have to deal with the same situation right now. We have to go in prepped for whatever map we end up getting.
It was a pretty good match, too bad we played like crap for the first half of the match, having to come back from 40% armour to your 80% was not a fun way to do it but I was really proud of my guys for getting it together and pulling it out. You guys put up a hell of a fight.
Good luck for the next one, maybe we'll fight it out again. GG |
