Well the devs stated in a video earlier that our drop suits have armor that is equivelant to a modern day tank.
This being said I don't think we should take fall damage for drops less than 2 stories. It kinda seems dumb that we can get shot with a tank shell walk that off then die cuz we fell 2 floors. LOL |

Think if you were to jump off a ten foot ledge RL it wouldn't be a problem, but now put on Medieval armor and do that jump and you would hurt yourself.
Thing is we arent in medieval armor we are in dropsuits millions of years in the future notice key word there DROP suits lol |

ROFL exactly what i thought The thing that allows these suits to drop is the inertia dampeners. The Inertia is when something will keep moving until another force is acted on it. Your body in the suit is falling at the same rate as the suit... the suit may survive the fall but the body inside will want to continue down taking damage. So I guess the suit shouldn't take fall damage but the body is side should.... unless the inertia dampeners are activated.
I am aware what inertia is i am also aware that i have done stupid things in my life and may or may not have had a broken leg at one point from jumping off a 2 story house. This is without armor of any kind mind you as believe it or not i am no space merc.
I did live from this however. And as it stands you can die from that fall in dust. (also its a video game) Anyway im not saying we should be able to jump out of the mcc and live but the fall damage really does need nerfed |
