During the spawn countdown, if you cancel it because you want to spawn somewhere else or choose another dropsuit, your game will glitch. Even if you dont die that round, you wont be able to spawn the next game and it will stay that way until you reset the PS3. Just resetting the game wont work.
It has nothing to do with how long you have been playing. I can re create the glitch whenever i want, whether its the first match, or the 20th match of the day. |

That is the most infuriating glitch I've ever encountered. Getting to watch my team slowly lose the match and not being able to hop in. Please fix this CCP. |

Bug has been around a long time in various incarnations.
It is dramatically better than it used to be. I haven't see it in the last six or seven Weeks.
Standard suggestions:
Quit messing with other menus in the spawn screen. Make sure you have enough Fits to fight a battle so you don't have to restock. Make sure that everybody in the Squad is in their Quarters with menus closed before starting the Battle. Close down extra chat connections. Restart the client (DUST) every several hours or when the Audio starts clipping.
To escape it try this: press Up on the D-Pad. Scroll through the player list and exit. See if that helps. It fixed a Squad mates locked up Spawn screen just this morning.
If there are other methods to get out of it maybe some other readers can comment on them. |

How can you be that Kitten Brained? Those actions causes a problem. You can duplicate the problem anytime you want. Stop duplicating it until they say they have it fixed. And you are coming on the Forums to post that the Fabulous Don has verified yet another months old bug that we don't see much anymore because we Quit Trying To Make It Happen.
There is a new Battle Finder coming. There is a new UI on the way. There is no way in the name of the Great Kitten that anybody would spend a minutes time on this as it is a avoidable problem and it is on the old code that is due for replacement.
I find that I can cancel out during the Spawn count down with out the failure mode. Also the Spawner will not let me cancel if I have already canceled before. That would lead me to think you have other conditions going on that you either aren't telling us about, don't realize that you are doing and just too Kitten Brained to think they are connected.
Try the Search function. Look for the conditions and add to the comments of any previous posting. That keeps the Kitten Excrement down to a reasonable level. You get the problem bumped up for the Devs to notice one more time and they don't have yet another duplicate bug post that they will simply ignore. Your name will be the last poster and others can verity that it is still ongoing. You might even find possible solutions in the comments of the older posts. |
