...WHY? The Laser Rifle skills are still broken, we have no variants on Laser Rifles, and the only bonus it has over the Standard is a whole 2 more percent of charge before it overheats. For the love of whatever deity you hold dear, DO NOT BUY THIS WEAPON UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! There are problems enough with the thing without people sinking REAL MONEY into it and being cheated. |

I agree, I really like the laser rifle, Ive been suckered into the skill drain on it as well. This weapon needs a skill fix most definitely. I did upgrade the range on it and I think that at least that works a bit. But idk why anyone would spend actual money on it right now. This gun class is a sleeping beast until it is fixed, but for now I'm sticking to the ELM anyways. Once you take out 5 heavies with a laser squad in a matter of seconds there's just no going back:)
PS: Don't rock the laser heavies, you're already a sitting duck. |

With exception to picking up the Merc pack recently and spending the AUR from that on the Raven and Sever suits, I'm still spending AUR from when I got into Beta last year. Not much left to go, but it'll probably take me another 2 weeks to dispense with it.
Yes, I bought Burnstalks. Really, my ISK balance was more important than the residual AUR in my wallet at that point, and I was just testing them. Still have some left as I have decided it just isn't worth wasting ISK or AUR on todays battles.
Everyone that kills me lately is Proto. Proto, Officer, Killswitch, Viziam, every other named, every module and weapon and dropsuit. Shooting these guys is like throwing pellets at a brick wall and they hit like a hammer on crystal.
wtf, they're pub matches. Of course, they're doing 50-1 KDR so I guess if they feel it's worth it, then it is for them. |
