WOW!!! I havent seen THIS lvl of lag since the data flooding... i mean data leak... i thought the swap to tranquility fixed this... until this last update... my screan looks like DOOM on my old 16MB computer... but HEY... we dont get kicked anymore... just lose MAJOR ISK suits cuz we cant move... and for the record... MY dwnld is 23mb, upld is 6mb THATS not the issue
note... this is the squad leader, other 3 squad members experience mild to moderate lag, but squad leader is unplayable
ps... at least on DOOM everything lagged... as opposed to my frozen in a corner defensless, while being shot by unaffected other side ;~)
PERSONALLY id rather get booted, and get my stuff back and scrub the battle than be frozen and FORCED to lose my fittings |

there is still some memory leakage in the game and after a while your game will do that because the ps3 has limited memory (RAM) on board which is not upgradable and you are right it isn't a connection problem the only thing to do to get rid of it is to turn of the ps3 and then turn it back on... as that resets the memory just quiting the game and starting it back up i am pretty sure does not work as those memory slots still would not be freed |

Not overruled. Sorry, that is not how memory leaks work. You are not running identical characters, nor identical equipment nor doing identical action sequences. Your network communications are not in sync either. The memory is leaking because something is using memory while not freeing it when finished. It could be anywhere and they can be difficult to find.
Back to your actual problem.
What region, time of day (GMT).
What map were you playing, by name and battle type?
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=forum&c=235
Was there a firefight?
Were there several vehicles? Specifically close by.
Were you playing in Skim Junction Skirmish, near the center industrial section?
Or some complex with several objectives close by making more of the players be in close proximity?
The information can help the Forum assess your problems it might even help the Devs get closer to closing the memory leak or whatever is causing the problem.
Your ranting produces no solution, nor does getting confrontational with Forum users trying to help. They are not Devs. Just players like you. Only not as grumpy. |

im aware they are not devs... answers to ur questions... 1. N. America, time of day was 3minutes before posts... both times (thats how long it took me to go from game to here) 2. different maps both ambush (first complaint) an skirmish (second) 3. oodl enough... zero vehicles ... maybe 1 (benefit of doubt) 4. no, neither time 5. was both, LAG carried to mcc, and to quarters AFTER battle 6. firefight? realy? its a fps...
*NOTE* I thanked him for trying, i dont post ANY BUG that i DONT expect a DEV to read and reply to... why? cuz neither of u 2, can fix it |
