The 'Lone Hire' combat group needs applications! This is a newly formed corporation and ANY and ALL applications are welcome; search 'LOHIR' in Dust's in-game Corporation Search tab, to apply. Enter thread for details.

'Lone Hire' is a corporation for paid solo fighters.
NOTE: This is a true free-for-all group. I will attempt to purchase combat contracts as often as possible for members, but this corporation will be as involved as members make it to be.
Don't have the time to spend in DUST as much as you wanted? Don't have time to be a full-blown mic-chattering swarm-splattering spiffing corporation boy/girl, but still want the recognition being in a corp entails? Do you take pride in your solo efforts? Then this is the corp for you, brave solo player!
This corp is NOT for those wanting the deep, heartwarming TLC and petty rivalries you get with other very well-known guilds such as the Imps, Sver True Bloods, Tritan Industries, Betamax, DUST University, etc.
This corporation is for ALL you lone wanderers out there; guns mag-locked to your backs and soloing entire enemy teams for that 240000 ISK. For the assault-rifler constantly at the top of the killfeed. For all you pilots flying solo, for the scouts who sprint alone to place a drop-uplink beside that crucial Null Cannon. For the lone tank driver who evens the odds for an entire team. For the only logician on the team who bothers to heal and revive. 'Lone Hire' is a corp made for you.
'Lone Hire' accepts that your name is more important than any corporation's name.

>> I offer you a way to emphasize your own skill, not to simply glorify an absent corporation.
>> I offer you, the solo player, a TITLE beside your name, not a juvenile attempt of a gung-ho callsign.
Being a Lone Hire means you appreciate the difference one player can make in a round.
Being a Lone Hire means not having to care about any corporate image.
Being a Lone Hire means you enjoy solo play, but are willing to team up when necessary to get that payment faster.
Remember, the good Lone Hire is a force multiplier for their team, and doesn't waste a player slot!
And most importantly, despite Lone Hired fighting solo to go where the ISK flows, they still believe that:
"The strongest individual is a perfectly synchronized team!"
So lone wolf it up!

There are only THREE RULES to being a Lone Hire:
1. NO team-killing (don't shoot the hand that pays you).
2. NO kicking players from the corporation. Inform me if you want someone kicked, with reasons. I make each member a corp Director to let you enjoy being true Lone Hired, but do NOT abuse the privelege. I know I can't monitor this all the time, so please send me Mail in DUST or inform me on this thread if you've been unfairly kicked from 'Lone Hire'. Members who randomly kick other members will be kicked out themselves, and will not be re-accepted ever.
3. NO changing the corporation's Description in-game. The fluff is the fluff is the fluff.
Everything else goes!
How to Apply:
1. In-game in DUST, open the Corporation tab in the Neocom menu.
2. Go to the Search option.
3. Type 'LOHIR'. This is the Lone Hire ticker/clan tag.
4. Select 'Lone Hire' corporation and hit Apply! I'll approve your application shortly.

Sorry, other than this forum thread, there are no other methods of chat between our corp members besides DUST mail, at the moment.

That would be something I would very much like to do in the future, and is one of the reasons I started this corp 
However, ATM there are only 7 members, and as I am pressed for time with studies, this corp will be somewhat of a sleeper until May.
I am currently trying to recruit as many people as possible who like the idea of a lone wolf corp, and amass ISK for contracts. All members are free to come and go as they please, but for the patient ones who like to remain members, expect the corp to burst into action by May.

Early days, haven't had time for a group hug yet! 
Hope that answered everything, it's still a relatively new corp! The free-for-all lone hire style of DUST player is hard to come by, most choose to take a definite side, so every new Lone Hire member is gold to me. |
