before the move to tranquility they did one about every month, I imagine this one they are coming out with will be more than we have seen in previous ones. |

They are on vacation untill the 21st, don't expect any news untill then. And even then don't expect any news untill the start of march based on thier track record. Also expect the next real update to come late march/ apirl. Since there will be a fanfest content update that is confrimed. They might end up holding off untill deploying the patch that will turn this into an mmo so they can show it off at fanfest which this year is sold out.
They've never sold out and they have the biggest venue in iceland now since last year.
On the other hand we'll get almost 120% tranparency during fanfest. Including big announments about awesome features that in 3 years they drop and never deliever on :P But to be fair I love being in the loop on even the ideas they chooce later won't happen. IT's a real nice change of pace to have a company be super open with what they are talking about in house.
A fully functional Walking in stations was playable 5 years ago at fanfest for example. For everyone to play, completely done with board games and TVs, and muliplayer enviroments. Also I believe this fanfest we'll be seing the unity demo for eve online where they explore stuff on foot with guns, so dust and eve will getting closer and closer. |
