I am sick and tired of seeing a Assault with some AV grenades and a nanohive on every single match! I get that they are primarily used to kill LAV's so not just someone with a decent shot can, but giving them enough range a damage to kill HAV's is just not even fair, considering The only useful dropsuit killer is the blaster, witch has less (I tested it; it does) range, accuracy, and then, of course, AV grenaders can hide in a spot that A: is unreasonably hard to kill, while he sits on a nanohive lobing one after another at the squishy HAV, or B: Is completely impossible to hit The nader while He can still hit you. Oh, yes, did I forget to mention that You can't outrun them even with Proto nitro? And that they, like swarms, go around buildings? Now, the only ways I can see balancing these monsters is by 1: dropping their damage. 2: buffing reppers. 3: Taking away homing after a distance (15-20 meters or r than that, if it still is too so). If these changes go through, and they are still too strong , it should be removed for changes, or forever if it can't be fixed. |

They're more of a nuisance than a problem, like an annoying fly. Now multiple grenaders is a different story, however I feel that is how it is suppose to be. One AV grenader, no, multiple, yes. Also depends on your tank. I had a militia one, and two grenades from a single soldier destroyed it instantly. |

I don't think a Madrugar with 8k eHP and a Heavy Repper driving away with nitro on should go BOOM from 4 nades.... |

Tanks should be a team support tool, not just a "I'm gonna drive around and get kills by myself" tool.
If you don't like militia fits destroying your expensive tank, have a team or squad member stay near you or ride with you at all times to pick off these annoyances.
If the other team has an offense against your tank, you should at least have some sort of defense to counter it. |

TIL OP gives out free 150 point bursts to anyone with AV capabilities.
noted. please keep trying to make tanks even harder to kill so you can continue using them like they are expensive dropsuits, instead of actually playing with, and supporting your team. Furthermore, if you are the kind of tool that brings a tank into ambush games, and expects to go 30/0, wake up, and get used to loosing your ISK, I'll be looking for you, AV nades and swarms ready. |

You didn't mention which HAV or its equip except that the Nitro didn't save it.
You didn't mention if you were running Gunners. Or better yet, the Advance Gunner With Mic. With me being a Gunner, I would suspect you probably save an ISK or two by leaving the Militia Missile Turret on. If the last is true, you need to lose some ISK just to balance out how horrible you have made life for any Gunner in your toy.
You didn't mention running with troops.
All of which adds up to us thinking your are just HAVing around on your own racking up Kills with your bigger, tougher, drop suit with treads. And no, we don't much care. Nor will it make us think AV Nades are OP.
And even if you had told us the right information, why are you stopping? HAVs getting AV spawned need to be Moving. The AV Nades will not home if you get distance. Hit everything, the Shield Boosters, the Armor Rep, the Fast Escape Of Your Choice and Get Outta Dodge!
I get head shots with Rail Guns and the splash damage will strip shields and armor. Once they are hurting they start jumping and the ability to hurl AV Nades is significantly reduced. Decent small blasters will get them quick if they are close and the Large Blasters have better splash damage so the hopping and the missing starts earlier. |
