The maps are some of the worst I have ever seen in a game.
They are REALLY badly designed. |

A bit more information would be useful. Explaining what's wrong and ways to fix it (being constructive) is always more useful than saying something sucks. |

I kinda like 'em. They look like actual industrial facilities.
What's wrong with them, exactly? |

How so?
I think they are very good, but some do favor one side, (Defender/Attacker), much more than the other. When it is the defender that is favored, it tends to make sense, where favoring the attacker is sort of weird. Most defensive installations will be designed to favor the defender of course.
They're not badly designed at all though, imo. |

Not enough corners, not enough camping spots, larger than 15 m, have large and open environments.
Oh, I'm sorry, this isn't CoD. |

The maps aren't the problem, only the spawns which I'm sure they will fix, no problem. You're probably one of the many COD type players who aren't used to taking cover. Work on that, buddy. |

I just don't agree with A being right by our spawn (attackers I think) and then B and C being right next to each other.
or D being near your spawn and E being your spawn, whilst A,B and C are in the middle.
Honestly I like the game, I don't mean the aesthetic design, just the placement. Some games I just quit because there is no sense of progression.
I hate constantly losing B and/or C, respawning at the CRU (if I can) and getting killed by people who spawn at B or C.
Or spawning at B or C and then getting killed by people from the CRU.
You just know you're going to constantly hold A but get NOWHERE for the whole game.
Some maps are better than others but 2 skirmish maps are just unplayable for me, very frustrating. |

Sometimes something is built in a bad location, then needs defending. Somebody that puts a military camp in bad spot is idiot. Someone builds industrial structure that is of value during war in bad spot probably wasn't thinking about defense at the time. |

Yup, I play COD all the time and never utilise cover. YOU GOT ME, +1.
I'm not talking about ambush anyway. If I meant the spawns I would have said the spawns. |

im on about needing to attack something which is in a bad location in relation to your spawn (the objective close to the attackers spawn). |

I wouldn't say they suck, but they're not super great either. They feel/look a little generic and lifeless to me, as they all sort of have the same drab look. As development continues, I'm guessing they'll get more interesting/unique designs, though. |

aesthetically I couldn't care less about their lack of polygons, textures and colours, the objects themselves are fine
What the problem is, is the location of objectives and how the spawns just suck, mainly for attackers.
Too many battles end up as a contant point a to point b from the letter right by your spawn to the one closest.
Only few battles actually happen inside the main complex with the majority of the objectives in their entirety! |

I can agree with this post, though I will say that I have found some bunker/turret placements that are utter garbage, I assume this will not be a problem though once we are designing our own districts (at least I hope this is true). |
