I have witnessed a heavy with an HMG walk up to those metal plates attached to the railing on most stages. once against it the HMG barrel sticks about 2/5 of the way out and fires through it. Its like a shield on the gun protecting about half the body height of the heavy. Now I was happy cause he was on my side and laying waste to anyone that came around. Im behind him happily healing away and restocking him. But I would not like to deal with that if I was on the opposite end. Also I have noted that the HMG's can do this on SOME stages through the sides of boxes also. I will be testing to see if it works with other long barrel weapons too. But I'm willing to bet it does. If anyone else get to it before me Im sure they will post it.

This is called head glitching. Where you basically shoot through your eyes. I hope they come up with a solution before final release, because head glitching is a cheap trick.

Yeah it is cheap....I felt dirty just being there. But I could not deny how effective it was either. Still his head, shoulders, and upper chest were open. I just shudder to think what a few HMG's high up doing this would do in a fight. Never mind the obvious sniper implications. I hope they get it fixed ASAP.

This is probably a map mesh issue.

Here is the link to the Map Feed Back Forum:

 https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=topics&f=901

If you run across these in the future, or can recall where it happened, a grid reference to the map by name will help the map developers to track them down.

The top of each sub-forum in the above link has JPEGs of each map, not that there are Skirmish and Ambush versions of each.
