I generally would have to agree with the OP. I fell that you should have to earn whatever you get. You can't just call down an OB whenever you please, it has to be earned. There are no Militia HAV's or Dropships that anybody can call down, you have to skill into them. No skills, no joy. That includes turrets. You can hack a turret to place under you teams control, but you shouldn't be able to operate it unless you've put some some skills into turret operation. |

There does need to be some sort or system this is a problem
Maybe when you spawn a vehicle for 30 secs after it touches the ground nobody can enter it until you do...... after that its open season slowpoke
Also I think that if you hack enemy vehicles and keep them till the end of the match u should get the vehicle as salvage......me and a few guys have hacked havs behind the redline because some noob kept spawning them....lol |

I don't think it should be any more than 10 seconds at most, personally. 30 seconds is an INCREDIBLY long time during combat. I think the current timer is something like 2 or 3 seconds. They could maybe bump it up to 5, and I think that would be sufficient. |

This has been asked for like 2 builds i think. Along with...................
****Better contacts list like maybe in alphebetical order, heck even the phone company can do this.
****More options to delete/Add multiple instead of 1 at a time.
****Ability to add people to a squad without having to add to contacts.
****Ability to do a group deploy with more than 4 peeps.
I still cant believe this isn't on the top of the list ever day. I guess ill make another one.

Vehicles driver spots should be only accessible to you when they're spawned, and stay that way as long as you wish. As well, you should be able to unlock them to squad or unlock them to your entire team as you choose. Also, individual seats should be kickable, so if you want to eject a certain person but keep someone else, that should be doable.
There are all sorts of crappy responses in this thread. Having your vehicle taken by your own team is dumb, sorry, and Dust would be better without it. |

There is no reason people should even be allowed to drive the vehicles with no SP. It doesn't work that way for anything else in the EVE universe, be it ships or dropsuits. |

I support the owner being the only driver allowed on your team or better only those in your corp or squad being able to drive.
If you get killed while calling it in and someone hacks it that's your fault. There's a redzone for this. If you call in a tank in the middle of a battle you have the potential to lose it before you even fire it up. Why is everyone so upset about this?

1. Stop calling in vehicles you don't want to lose in the middle of a bunch of blueberries. 2. Do not move out of the driver seat until the end of the match or until you get forged/swarmed to death. 3. If you are in an ambush match, only use the disposable kind of tanks.
Failure to follow the above rules is punishable by tying the driver over a barrel and shove my swams down his throat while he gets forged from behind. |

You need to do something useful, besides driving? No you don't, that's what the passenger seat on LAVs is for. Give someone a lift, let them hack w/e ever needs to be hacked. Stop trying to do everything by yourself.

I think all problems would go away if the one who called the HAV down takes the driver seat and it automatically kicks whoever on your team stole the drivers seat.
A lot of useless answers here. An HAV is a team weapon, you should call it down with friendlies around to help keep it alive as well as keep them alive. |

I say if you don't have the skills to drive/fly it, then you shouldn't be able to, just like in EVE, but thats it. if you call in a tank in a pub match, and your team mate has equal or better skills tham you, you might lose your tank.
it might even slow down the current trend of seeing 2 or even 3 tanks at a time on one team in pub matches. furthermore, if you are driving a tank at the end of a match, that tank and everything on it should be added to your assets. maybe just added as a tank fitting.
MORE EVE IN MY DUST PLS.
Dust is starting to seem more like a cry to win game, and less like the hardcore FPStment I was expecting. don't want your s*** stolen? stop treating it like it's expendable. if you are driving a tank, never leave that seat. if you often find yourself desiring to get out, always have a teammate you can communicate with, and rely on to jump out when needed and deal with things.
if you are deploying solo and still call in tanks.. well, some things just can't be fixed. |

Ooh u mad bro
I would point out your pretty much signaling for the wambulance with this thread and proving you are pretty much a big man on the internets.
I would like to thank you for supplying my monthly tear quota in one thread so full of butt hut that every scammer in eve felt that disturbance in the force.
I don't steal tanks and can't think of anyone in crimewave who would. But I assure you if I see you in any game im in I will now ram you with lavs till you die.
This is notthe type of game that will coddle you and coo you too sleep. While basically playing itself for you.
Crimewave sucks? news to me... sounds like your lashing out because you feel entitled that will only lead to more delicious tears.
So basically I suppose I should now post the obligatory "come at me bro" |

I don't think some of you understand the situation at all. This isn't about being careless. Let me give you an example so you might comprehend:
You call in a tank While the RDV is taking it's sweet ass time to drop the tank, some red comes into the area and you turn around to engage While you are momentarily occupied, a team mate steals your tank
or
You decide to revive a team mate that just died near you while the RDV is taking it's sweet ass time to let go of the tank While momentarily occupied...well you get the picture
Those commenting "you snooze, you lose", you even have experience with tanks? My guess is you never have called one down. There are times the RDV gets confused where to release the freaken tank. Let it go already you drunk pilot! |
