Here is a North American Dust 514 | EVE Online Corporation.
Members of this team look out for each other, share knowledge, specialize in a role of interest and use a microphone for communication. Together we daringly do whatever it takes to have a good time.
Rewards of fidelity are the mutual support and camaraderie of a group. Assembling this rouges gallery are sensible gamers that played EVE Online for about seven years. Members gain a wealth of accessible guidance in the art of warfare and profit.
Team Operations in Dust 514 could potentially be financed by an already established EVE Online side of the corporation. Trading in death is profitable. When trade flows between Dust and EVE, it stands to reason that corporations with infrastructure on the ground and in space will undoubtedly have an edge over Dust based only corporations.

I play EVE also and I would love to find a good Corp that is on both EVE and DUST. Where are you located in EVE and do you have a website? |

I might be interested but I have a few questions first. 1. Are we allowed to squad with other corps not for corp battles just random squading with friends? (yes I have been in corps that don't allow this so now I have to ask) 2. About how many players do you have? I don't need an exact number just a generalization if you don't recall at the moment. 3. I only get on between 5:30-10:00 US central (23:30-4:00GMT) on weekdays and all day on weekends. Is this acceptable? 4. Will corp members get a discount on goods since you have EVE members? (Or are they EVE+Dust players?)

XANDER,
1) Restricting your corporation buddies to play with the same flavor of four to sixteen players in a game hosted in the massive universe of New Eden seems ridiculous. I donGÇÖt understand why anyone would isolate their social network in such a way. However it is to be expected that a player placing their own fidelity in question by obviously siding against the corporation would be discharged.
2) The current version of Dust 514 will not allow you to co-op with more than three other players in instant matches and sixteen in corporate battles. We have an average of four to eight consistent shooters online every night that have more than casual interest in Dust 514. We play as a team. Everyone uses microphones to communicate. These guys placed us at Rank 240 on the Leaderboards in less than 30 Days.
3) Your availability should be fine.
4) Incentives for individual achievements and offering hand outs to players who simply join a corporation is not what we do. The player looking for a PSN card as reward for individual achievement or wants an incentive to join a corporation differs from a contender seeking team play. The Recruitment message for this thread was carefully crafted to attract competitive gamers with the aptitude to be successful in a team.
A single contender who team plays and is fire up in the face of challenge for the fun of it is worth more than a hundred egos bloating the membership. Twenty plus such players playing together toward common goals would lay waste to anything in their path. That is what we are building here.

As per your response to question 4. I was referring to discounts (not free) on isk costing dropsuits, equipment, and weapons lost during corp matches and (in the future) Planetary Conquest. Or after loyalty was proven. I fully intend to ensure I can afford my equipment at all times no matter who I'm working for. I don't like corps that pay their members for being there (they have to have one hell of a budget and most that do give paychecks contain only the people dumb enough to fall for it). |

Rewarding people for losing is also a tricky thing. Lessening the risk of loss undermines the fun of facing a challenge and any victory that follows. Normally the leadership of a corporation would GÇ£manageGÇ¥ the income and justify the management by offering insurances such as discounts or full replacements.
We have another approach to motivate winning and making participation worthwhile. It also allows members to choose their level of participation, offset the cost of battle and enjoy plunder as a result of contributions made to the campaign. The Spoils of War are to be divided between members among us whom actively participate in operations.
The corporation could serve as a venture capitalist that could front the cost of an endeavor. Aside from recovering operation investments there is no reason for the corporation to take a share in the spoils since it has own independent means of income.
The corporation would retain ownership of Districts and Corporate Assets but the profits gained by Districts or execution of Player Mercenary Contracts that hire the services of both Fleet and Ground Forces toward a purpose are to be transferred to the accounts of the members who conquered.
This arrangement in addition the team we are building pretty much exceeds the value of discounts or a replacement program.
If ever the ability to produce Dust 514 Arms, Dropsuits and Equipment became available in EVE Online then we would explore how that could benefit the corporation. We would already have the means internally and the friends capable making it possible. |

XERCORE has been the home of many down to earth gamers who started a journey about internet spaceships and discovered something real and awesome. There have been generations of this corporation that have learned that winning is satisfying but fun can also be simple as allowing the game to be a game while chilling out with corp buddies.
I have been in the universe 7 years. I may occasionally leave EVE to explore new things but always come home. I welcome the 10th anniversary of New Eden. |

All we are asking of the gamer who is joining our squad is to have a microphone.
Specializing in a role and knowing whats skills to focus will become more obvious while playing with the team.

Honestly, I was pretty apprehensive about joining a Corp on Dust after having bad experiences with other online games. Truthfully I could not ask for a better group of people. Everyone has been EXTREMELY helpful and seeing Xercore grow and develope the way it has just over the last month tells me I picked the right one the first time. Peace out ya buch of Xerc's!!!!! |
