Squad Command being a set of passive (or maybe active) skills that increase the effectiveness of your squad as long as you're squad leader. Maybe a skill that adds 1% max shields to all member of your squad per level of the skill. It wouldn't seem like a lot but when maxed it'd be an extra 5% max shields to 4 or 5 people.
Anyone else have ideas similar to this?
Long as it's implemented only after the Crusader suit is implemented.
Edit: By the way, I am a fan of the Fleet system in Eve Online so +1. |

I wouldn't be surprised if we see skills similar to Skirmish/Siege/Armored/Information warfare (+2% to speed/shield/armor/targeting range per level, respectively) and would imagine that Crusader suits will occupy a role similar to Battlecruisers, in that they provide an additional bonus beyond what the skill does by allowing the use of special warfare link mods.
But this is all hypothetical. There's no guarantee they'll follow the same system they use in EVE.
Better be expensive. If a Standard Assault Suit is comparable to a T1 Frigate - than the Crusader suit better be around 5x the price. Considering some of the modules for the Crusader suit are as such:
"Reduces enemy rate of fire in radius" "Prevents enemy shields from recharging in radius"
I can see a -LOT- of QQing about how they'd be overpowered. |

all guessing here though, so we should wait and see what CCP has for us, since they are diligently working as we come up with ideas

Scout suit has unnecessarily low CPU/PG; especially considering what you have to fit on it 90% of the time. You always wind up having to sacrifice something for something else. Having to do that as a Squad Leader would be absolutely annoying and infuriating. |
