I then proceeded to while being shot unload my fill mass driver clip into him and blow him to tiny golden pieces... Of course his scout buddy came next and punched me to death while reloading but thatsbmore or less great timing on hid part and me having 0armor and regening shields

For the last ******* time, real miniguns dont require a spinup period. Also, best accuracy? LOL.

Mini guns don't have a spinup time but they don't get more accurate the longer you shoot them the second the gun gets hot accuracy drops down. So your right the sniper rifle is the most accurate but right next to that is ... the HMG if u want real life go play BF3 . All I'm saying is it would bring an edge to using the HMG. By no means am I a good player and my k/d ratio isn't that good but when using the HMG over the assault rifle I double even triple my kills so you cannot tell me its not one of the more OP guns in the game.

I play a heavy almost exclusively and the fact that you are able to double or triple the number of kills has nothing to do with the HMG being OP. It does have something to do with your full package. First off your base armor and shields are over double that of a base assault suit. So you tend to last longer in one on one fights and sometimes you can get lucky and last for a bit in 3 v 1 fights, if the other team is loaded with scrubs. That big circle, it represents the bullet pattern and anything inside of it can take a bullet. The closer to center the target is and the closer to optimal range the target is, the more bullets the target gets. You think the HMG is OP, perhaps you have not met the laser rifle. Get in its path and your fat little heavy suit will turn to molten metal in no time and I don't care how many bullets you fling down field. That's not to say that laser rifles are OP or that they can't be taken down, but it is to say for every play type in this game there is a counter. When it comes to being a heavy, shotties and lasers are a heavies biggest threat. Plus heavies tend to get a high number of kills because some players think they are Rambo and they want to be able to say, "Hey, I took a heavy all by myself." Some players who have skilled appropriately can take a heavy, some players know their limits and avoid heavies, and then there is the moron who hasn't a clue to WTF they are doing and get killed by the heavy. The morons run rampant in DUST and shooting those players is like punching a baby in the face, you just feel bad for doing it, but then you realize, perhaps they shouldn't have been standing in front of the BFG.

Unless you're being sarcastic. Hard to tell.

And I doubled my kills by switching from the HMG to the shot gun, and then I maintained that by switching to the AR. Just because it works for you doesn't mean it's better period.
