Cause adv heavy is worthless and I'm getting cutdown by adv assaults with gek's at close range before I can even drop their shields. Buff heavy. |

Started playing Heavy last build scrub. Its only "op against milita and standard. Against adv and proto gear its supremely weak. |

A heavy is suppression, if coupled with a logi it can tear sh*t up.
No, the point is, even with logi support, the GEK user will steamroll the heavy, and then kill the logi. |

It's not about using team work, most of the veteran heavies do this already. So the ol' standby "run wiff logi or gitgud scrob" doesn't apply here.
This is about the suit itself not being about to stand up against other suits. I haven't seen Paran in action, but I assume that he's using the heavy as he should (i've been wrong before). Against Standard and Militia suits, the heavy trumps. But once those assaulters get into the Advanced suits, coupled with the modules, it's a losing battle for the heavies.
It's like me and other heavies have been saying this for ages or something..........
Should add, I usually run pistol, flux ,forge as a heavy. HMG is too weak, as is the suit. Drop range on HMG, boost DMG and boost suit fitting PG and CPU for adv and pro. Problems solved. |

I will admit that the way armor plating works and how heavies are set up, at higher levels they dont get as much of an HP buff as they should. Add a +5% armor per level of Amarr Heavy Dropsuit Operation and I think everything would be golden.
Or just build it into the suits, as basing it off the skill, itll apply to all heavy suits. |

It's dangerous (i'm also a ****-poor shot with a pistol) I've had relative amounts of success with just the MH-82 and a few damage mods on the Type-II. I've debated going back to fluxs though. As far as the adjustments to the HMG, if I remember correctly, it was either Kain or Beers that suggested keeping the range as is, but shortening the effective range of the HMGs. So your shots still went as far as they do now, but scatter all to hell at range more-so then they do now.
I only run dmg mods on typeI. TypeII is all shielded. When engaging infantry I drop a flux then headshot. Usually works pretty well. Use the forge for longer range. Flux also works great on tanks.
