So I have a 55 inch LED at home I'd been using for the two months I've been playing this game. Then I had to spend a couple weeks at the navy base in Jacksonville, they have 32 inch tvs and I brought my PS3 to keep myself out of the bars in my off time. I was tearing it up pretty good while I was there. i came back home, and on the big TV, everything felt sluggish. I played around with sensitivity, but couldn't get it to feel the same.
So then I hook it up to the 32 we have in the office, change back the sensitivity, and poof...I'm playing much better.
The controls feel much more responsive to me. I'm sure it has to do with reduced periphery from the smaller size of screen to look at? Not sure, but it works for me.
Perhaps it's common knowledge in the gaming world? I haven't played one with much interest in years before this one though, so if you don't play many video games, or maybe you aren't doing as well as you think you could be?...maybe try out a smaller screen and see if it helps you. I saw Doc Kok post a pic awhile back saying he liked liked playing on his smaller tv in the kitchen, maybe he was in to something. |

Funnily enough, I think I may have a similar situation. Field testing is needed.

from what i've been hearing, a lot of the super serious fps gamers suggest tv sizes no bigger than 32". a computer monitor is the best way to go. a guy on youtube, woodysgamertag, posted a video talking about going from a big screen to a smaller screen. |

All TVs have something called input lag, HD ones have bigger input lag than some others. What basically happens is that the TV stretches out the picture resolution so the refresh rate drops, giving you a delay on how long the picture arrives on your TV and in result, it throws off your aim. |

Ah, thanks. Yep that's how I'd describe the controls on my larger tv, laggy. So yeah dusters, try out the smaller screens, I'd be willing to bet your play will get better! |
