Chat will not connect and there is an Eternal "You've Got Mail" Notification.
And before you ask, YES! I have tried everything I could find in the Forums prior to putting in a Support Petition (Which ended with sending me to a locked topic in the Forum), so here you go...
Voice Chat is on...Push to talk is off...
I have tried Port Forwarding, Setting PS3 as DMZ, and anything else I could find in this forum or anywhere else for that matter...
During the time that the Support Petition was being looked at, I got a notification saying that my connection to the Chat Channel was being reset, and then I get the Mail Notification Error.
I have even logged in on a friend's PS3, his Chat works fine for him with only the occasional glitch, and could not connect to any Chat Channel. He logged back into his PSN Account and had no problem with the chat system for his character. He logged into my system and did not have a problem with my set-up/equipment and was able to get chat to work fine.
Being able to communicate is a crucial part of the game and needs to be addressed. I am glad for those people that have been able to do one of the many work-arounds out there, but it should not be necessary.
Meanwhile, my UVT is going to expire before the matter is resolved.
Please find a way to fix this soon, as it hampers many crucial aspects of the game. |

Imperfects are hacking in game mail now? For the love of AV grenades where does it end? 
Also, that mail notification badge for my empty inbox is really screwing with my OCD. CCP please fix! |

i have a permanent mail notification even though i've read all my mails and deleted them all but the red dot in the neocom is still there  |

The mail notification is most likely due to the fact that you are getting eve side corp/alliance mails but those are not yet implimented in dust yet, so the server say have you have mail but the UI for reading it doesn't exsist,
As to the voice chat there are so many factors that could be causing Issues Here, not being a dev I have no way to explain or give data on them all, sorry |
