I've noticed that I get roughly the same number of War Points in a game of Skirmish as I do in a game of Ambush (if only slightly more in Skirmish). Obviously, Skirmish is a much larger time dedication and I expend my more expensive kits in Skirmish that I don't need to use in Ambush.
One idea would be to award players who have captured Supply structures with a relatively small WP bonus whenever someone resupplies or grabs a kit from the Supply structure. This would create incentives to storm objectives and capture valuable mission assets.
The same incentives could also be applied when players spawn on objectives you've captured, much the same way you're rewarded when players spawn on your Drop Uplinks. |

Odd I find that I always make more SP in Skirmish and more ISK as well.
Before the wipe I made nearly 100% more SP in Skirmish and now it is 30-50%.
Some of the reduction is the SP choke of course but Skirmish has always paid out more. It makes the Ambushes not worth doing very often. If you only have time for a quick battle then yeah, okay. |

I did some manual stat tracking for the past two days (I hope we eventually get something similar to Battlefield 3's Battlelog), and you're right. I average about 25% more ISK and nearly double the SP in Skirmish as opposed to Ambush.
I'm still trying to figure out exactly how SP is calculated. It's not a direct function of WP or ISK. It seems to vary at least a little bit based on how long you're in the game for, too. |

I'm a old mag player so team play is dear to my heart when it comes to multiplayer games and i think there is definitely a lack of incentive when it comes to team play, i don't so much agree with your idea but i think repairing, reviving, resupplying and moving as a group should be rewarded more.
on mag you could set squad orders AKA FRAGO'S and if you were within a certain distance of that order you would receive double XP, i would love to see a system like this implemented because it would give incentive to issue squad orders and work as a team. |

SP is calculated extremely simply now: You get 5SP for every second spent in battle and 1SP for every 1WP earned.
Therefore you get much more from skirmish because you generally spend 50% - 100% longer in battle. This also adds more time to be earning WP.
It should also be noted that once you hit the cap now, you get no SP for time spent in game and only get 1SP for 1WP up to 1000SP max. |
